Disclosures
As part of my committment to transparent and integrous leadership, I reject any attempt to assist my campaign with financial contributions, payments, in-kind services, or advertising from special interest groups. When I petitioned to run for the board of Great Lakes Energy District 8, I went out into my community to collect the necessary 50 signatures instead of posting to social media. Each signature was collected by somebody I personally engaged with. While other candidates may have chosen to get their signatures via facebook, I believe that connection to community through face-to-face communication is vital to understanding what the community really cares about.
You might ask, "if you're not taking assistance from special interest groups, how are you able to create these online resources?". The answer is: I did it myself.
The Nitty-Gritty
The Great Lakes Energy election process requires disclosure of those who have provided financial contributions, payments, in-kind services, or have purchased/procured advertising for candidates' campaigns. Disclosure of contribution amounts is optional. Disclosures are signed and delivered three times throughout the campaign process. Below are the current disclosures for my campaign:
- Disclosure 1 (6/20/2025)
- Disclosure 2 (7/21/2025)
- Disclosure 3 (pending)
